IEEE day booth
IEEE AESS JU Branch organized a booth on IEEE day with the aim of making students, and especially first year students more aware of IEEE, AESS, and AESS's goals and fields of interest. An astonoshing amount of interested students showed up to learn more about AESS, AESS's booth was remarkable and really stood out among the other booths. We made sure to attract people with a clean, decorated, and well designed booth which also had fun games, while keeping them long by fueling their interests with AESS's mission and initiative. Our booth not only attracted engineering students, but also students from the IT faculty, everyone found AESS's fields of interest to be amusing.
The 25th of october was also the day of the partial solar eclipse, so we gathered students to view it with special glasses provided by AstroJO
On the second day, we also organized a booth, but this time in the IT Faculty, it also gained great traction and attention.
The outcome of this event was very positive, as more and more students started recognizing IEEE and AESS, while being a great opportunity for our members and volunteers to work together and know eachother better, and it was all thanks to the great efforts of our great members and volunteers.
