(1) NASA's Space Communications and navigation program enables data exchange, whether it's with astronauts aboard the International Space Station, rovers on Mars or the Artemis missions to the Moon.
(2) What's Next: The Future of NASA's Laser Communications.
This is a joint technical program between the IEEE Lone Star Section Communications and Signal Processing Society Chapter and the IEEE Life Members Affinity Group.

Space Communications
T. Scott Atkinson will present his review of two NASA articles on Space Communications.
Biography:
Scott is an IEEE Life Senior Member who worked for Lockheed Electronics Company at the Houston Space Center back in the 70"s. He has maintained a keen interest in all things related to space communications since then. He occasionaly presents presentations on various topics of interest to IEEE members and their guests.
