INDUSTRIAL VISIT (INFOSYS)
COMPUTATIONAL INTELLIGENCE SOCIETY (CIS) Student Chapter, organized an Industrial Visit to Infosys, Gachibowli, Hyderabad to Students with an aim to give the feel of the professional environment of the software industry and to get knowledge about the work culture of the IT industry, Infrastructure and campus facilities provided by the company.
Students were divided into groups of 15 to 20 students each. Each group is given two mentors who gave the students a campus tour. Students were given a campus tour, with the mentors guiding them around. They showed the campus infrastructure and the facilities they are providing to their employees. Mentors told that Infosys is also involved in saving resources. They use different methods to save electricity and water. Infosys has the biggest solar panel farm, which is on 30 acres.
