The Executive Committee Meeting was held online on November 23rd, 2022 from 07:30 PM to 08:30 PM IST.

Welcome and Announcements: Chairman welcomed all the members present in the meeting.

Agenda Item #1: Ratification of minutes of the previous meeting.

Discussion: The minutes of the previous meeting were approved with the consent of members present in the meeting.

Agenda Item #2: Office bearers for the year 2023

Discussion: With the consent of members present in the meeting, the list of office bearers for the year 2023 was suggested by the Chairman subject to that one must be an IEEE CIS member. The executive committee members for the year 2023 are as follows:

Action Item: The new Executive Committee Body will be effective from January 2023 and the office bearers will be reported to IEEE CIS. It is mandatory to become an IEEE CIS member to hold a position in the executive committee body. Hence, the members must renew their membership for the year 2023 on or before December 31st, 2022.

Agenda Item #3: The award/Certificate 

Discussion: The following Award/Certificate has been finalized by the committee:

a. IEEE UP Section CIS Chapter - Best Researchers Award to Dr. Teena Sharma for significant contribution in the area of CI as well as for the CIS Chapter promotion
b. IEEE UP Section CIS Chapter - Certificate of Appreciation to Prof. Praveen Kumar Shukla for organizing a significant number of CIS promotional activities 

The meeting was adjourned with a vote of thanks at 08:30 PM IST.
