Faycal Znidi
The Future of Smart Grid Technologies
Biography:
Faycal Znidi received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas, USA, in 2019. During 2009 and 2010, he earned a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, USA. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University in Texarkana, Texas, USA. Dr. Znidi has also worked on several industry projects throughout his professional career with the Tunisian Company of Electricity and Gas (STEG). Research interests include mathematical optimization, operations research, microgrid operation and planning, power system dynamics and control, and power system protection, cybersecurity, as well as machine learning applications to power systems.
