Topic:

Security - Addressing the New Cyber Physical Realities

Biography:

Ronald Lewis is an accomplished cyber security expert, ethical hacker, data scientist, and software developer. As a backend developer and software pioneer in the USAF, he created many technologies that helped shape the joint logistics and supply systems. He spent several years working with the military and federal government – and helped develop the fundamental processes for application security found in the modern DISA Application Security STIG. After leaving the DoD, he spent several years leading CenturyLink’s (now Lumen Technologies) Disruptive Innovation team and helped build the architecture describing the standard cloud orchestrated, edge-deployed workload approaches.  He’s been awarded 18 patents, several internationally, and has several additional patents pending.  He has recently jointed the faculty at Louisiana Tech University as a Professional in Residence to give back and to help further his research into Open Source Threat Intelligence and Hybrid Computing.
