ICT Train-the-Trainer Disaster Preparedness Workshop will be a 5-day training workshop provided by IEEE Young Professionals, ISOC Guatemala Chapter and IEEE EDS Guatemala Chapter. 


ICT Train-the-Trainer Disaster Preparedness Workshop will be a 5-day training workshop provided by ISOC Guatemala Chapter and IEEE EDS Guatemala Chapter. IEEE Young Professionals will host a panel session on Friday 24 February where panelists from different sectors such as academia, civil society, non-profit organizations, government, and industry will debate the importance to be prepared for natural disasters in the role of ICT in the engineering field to deploy novel technologies and wireless communications for relief. 
 
After the panel session, IEEE Young Professionals will invite all attendees to a networking session, where young professionals will have the opportunity to mingle and interact with the stakeholder community. The event will provide a coffee break, snacks and drinks for 95 participants.

connectivity and improve information sharing during an emergency response. NetHope will be holding a train-thetrainer

deploy, manage, and support data and voice services during emergency operations.
