Presentation: “Medium Voltage Switchgear Maintenance”

Abstract: 

Often overlooked, is the importance of maintaining safe operation of medium voltage assets. In this presentation, we will cover the methods and frequencies of medium voltage switchgear maintenance to ensure the equipment continues to provide years of service to improve reliability as well as safety of the operators. From grease to torque value as well as tests that can be used to trend performance, we will discuss the best ways to keep the heartbeat of many facilities operating as designed.

Biography:

Operating out of our Houston office, Aaron supports the sales and execution teams from a technical aspect while working with our valued customers to develop innovative solutions to challenges in their electrical systems. Hailing from Pittsburgh, PA and graduating from Penn State University, Aaron joined Crescent Power Systems in 2016 as a Senior PM. Having worked for equipment manufacturers (Siemens and Powell), he brings insight to the manufacturing, field implementation, commissioning, and maintenance of the equipment we integrate.
