Dr. Zhengrong Pu graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine majoring in Clinical Medicine. He used to be an oncologist. He has 22 years of leadership and management experience in the field of medical business. Since joining Siemens Healthineers in 2001, he has been dedicated to the development and promotion of interventional therapy technology for 22 years. From 2014 to 2016, under his leadership, SSMR-AT is successfully built up in Shenzhen, integrating German technology and Chinese manufacturing for the first time, introducing top interventional imaging technologies committed to one hundred years of Siemens to China, launching world-class imaging products based on local environment, so that more Chinese patients can benefit from technological innovation.

At present, as the vice president of Siemens Healthineers Greater China, Dr. Pu is responsible for Advanced Therapies and Public Affairs, leading the elite team to develop more cutting-edge innovative technologies, constantly looking for practical solutions more in line with the current medical situation in China, with a down-to-earth attitude and with future medical trends in mind, to provide systematic and comprehensive one-stop services for hospitals of all levels in China.

During this period, he and his team introduced the hybrid operating room to China, helping doctors achieve multidisciplinary cooperation and benefiting more Chinese patients. Endovascular Robotics successfully landed in China under his promotion, providing a safer working environment for Chinese interventional physicians. He also promoted one-stop solutions to get timely treatment for stroke and chest pain patients.

In addition, he participates in the cooperation between Siemens Healthineers and Central Social Service Department of China Democratic League for assisting county-level and township hospitals to improve imaging equipment level and physicians' operation and diagnosis level, alleviate the imbalance of medical resources in underdeveloped areas. This cooperation has covered more than 380 county-level and township hospitals in 20 provinces.
