One Day Industrial Visit to Rayalaseema Thermal Power Plant (RTPP), Y.S.R. Kadapa
The Department of EEE has organized a One Day Industrial Tour to “Rayalaseema Thermal Power Project”, Kadapa on 6th November 2022
The tour is initiated to provide the knowledge on the equipments of thermal power plant, process of power generation, Automation of Power unit control etc., for the under graduate Electrical Engineering students of our college.
This tour gave a lot of practicality on the automation of thermal power generation. As per the guidelines of the Mr.Mahesh, Assistant engineers, has explained the plant of Unit-V in detail with visual observations of each and every major equipments. Students have visited layout of total power plant at the entrance, and then Automation control room of Unit-V, Generators with auxiliary equipment, Boilers, Re-heaters, Bunkers, Hoppers, Coal Handling Plant etc.
In this tour, III B.Tech. I Sem EEE Students of 2020 Batch have visited. The tour incharges are Mr.M.Y.Veeresh, Asst. Prof., Ms.R.Sujatha, Asst. Prof., Dept. of EEE.
