2023 IEEE Vancouver Section Annual General Meeting
After a few years of online Annual General Meetings, the IEEE Vancouver Section is excited to announce that we are returning to an in-person AGM and Gala for 2023.
The 2023 IEEE Vancouver Section’s AGM and Gala Dinner will be held on Saturday, March 25th starting at 6 PM in Burnaby, BC at the Element Hotel. One of the highlights of the evening is an exciting Keynote presentation by a local technology leader.

How technology is helping achieve sustainability goals
In order to enable better environmental and societal outcomes in today's tech-powered world, sustainability needs to be foundationally embedded into the ongoing digital transformation. Critically, inclusive systems thinking is necessary to ensure that this transformation is leveraged to eradicate global inequities.
My expertise lies in enabling systems-level transformations by intersecting strategy, innovation, and sustainability. I lead the development and execution of sustainability-driven digital and transformation strategies for global stakeholders within the the financial sector, tech ecosystem, government and academia. I excel in developing multilateral partnerships across stakeholder groups to realise shared objectives.
Beyond this, I am an investor and advisor to tech startups globally, supporting them with business development, growth strategy and sustainability. As an active practitioner of yoga, I also teach yoga and mindfulness.
