Speakers' Bio:

Dr. La’Quata Sumter earned her Ph.D. in Learning Technologies from the University of North Texas in 2021. She earned a Master of Education and Educational Specialist in Instructional Technology from Georgia Southern University. Dr. Sumter has CompTIA IT Fundamentals, A+, Networking+, and Project+ certifications and a Remote Pilot License with the Federal Aviation Administration.

Dr. Sumter is a member of the National Society of Black Engineers, AUVSI, Women and Drones, Women in Tech, Women Who Code, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. From publishing numerous IT and Engineering books to presenting all over the country, Dr. Sumter finds it most rewarding to educate the next generation and leaders in technology on topics she loves - technology and engineering.
