Day-1

The day-1 of the event took place on the 17th of January, 2022 (Monday). This was a Qualifier Round. This event was addressed by Mahalakshmi R - IEEE RAS Student Chair of Sri Sairam Institute of Technology, and Nithyasri V T - IEEE Educational Activity Chair of Sri Sairam Engineering College. The jury of this competition was Saminathan S from Samsan Enterprises, Chennai; Lalitha Srinivasan, Social Media Influencer and Sundaram A Income Tax Inspector(retd). Individual topics of debate were allotted with separate breakout rooms and participants were instructed to join any one of the breakout rooms based upon their topic of interest. The participants were allowed to participate as a team of two members. The two debate topics were (i) Make in India  (ii) Is COVID-19 vaccination safe or not?.
