On Wednesday, June 10, 2015 the North Jersey Section Professional Activities Committee will meet for an Open Discussion and Social with Pizza, soda & refreshments. How many companies have left New Jersey during your career? Do we have any good news? Maybe yes, Maybe No, but it is nice to see old friends. What would IEEE-USA like our PACE members to do? IEEE-USA is concerned about the H-1B issue and so are we.

Agenda

This meeting is about getting members of the Section together for a light evening of discussion and hospitality. Basically we will hold a brainstorming session to discuss the H-1B issue with future meetings and activities. All are invited. We shall encourage North Jersey Section Ex-Com officers to attend. Attendees will have an opportunity to select Subjects and Speakers for future meetings. Bring your associates, friends and spouses.

Everyone will have an opportunity to express their views about the profession, jobs, opportunities and perhaps even politics. We begin with Member introductions. Let’s get nasty and make things happen.

Welcome:

Members and students from other professional societies and engineering disciplines are always welcome. We now include members from IEEE, ASME, AEA, and WIE.
