On 22nd July of 2022, the IEEE student branch conducted a webinar on Cyber Security Essentials and Basics. The webinar was hosted on GMEET around 6.30 to 7.30 pm. The guest speaker of the webinar was Shanmuga Raja M B.E, CSE,, Cyber Security Research and Founder of Zyberhike. The webinar was hosted and coordinated by Aravindan S – Secretary, SIT IEEE SB – Vice chair, AWP Society. The webinar described the body of technologies, processes, and practices designed to protect networks, computers, programs and data from attack, damage or unauthorized access. The students were well informed about the current trends in cyber security and the skills that students need to develop.
