#4  NETWORKING BASICS THE OSI MODEL

  On the day of 15th of December , the IEEE student branch of Sri Sairam  Institute of Technology, organized  the “Forby Series” Event. The event took place in online mode around 7.30 pm to 8.30  pm , the event was co ordinated by the IEEE SB Counsellor Dr.G.Saritha . The event was very interesting. The speaker explained about the seven ways in the OSI model. The speaker also elaborated how the message gets transmitted and exchanged. The students were actively participating in the event. In addition  to this, the speaker also taught about the seven layers, that  is application, presentation, session, transport, datalink, network and physical in the OSI model. On the whole , the event  was fascinating  and the event co ordinates organized the event very well.
