Leila Ashurov of TELUS Communications Inc.
Biography:
Leila Ashurov is Counsel at TELUS and a member of the intellectual property (IP) legal team. Her practice focuses on all areas of IP. Leila graduated from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law and is also a registered Canadian Trademark Agent. Prior to pursuing a career in law, Leila obtain her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Molecular Biology from York University. Her Masters thesis focused on studying the function and molecular structure of two proteins involved in a critical cell signaling pathway.
