Biography:

Martijn Deckers obtained a BS in Electrical Engineering and a MS in Energy from KU Leuven and is currently pursuing a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering in the Electa research group of the electrical engineering department at KU Leuven. His research interests include wide bandgap semiconductors, reliability of power electronic switching devices and multiple input-output converter architectures for solar PV applications. Alongside this, he has been a teaching assistant in courses on magnetic power transfer, electrical motors and drives, heat transfer and fluid dynamics.
