IEEE Erie Section Student Symposium
IEEE Erie Section is happy to announce 2023 Students Symposium on Monday April 3rd, 2023. Venue: i-HACK building 3rd Floor, Gannon University.
Participants are welcome from Gannon University, Mercihurst University, and Penn State Behrend University. Students from undergraduate (senior) and graduate level may show case their masters project/research or senior design projects including and limited to:
1. Senior design or capestone projects (undergraduate)
2. Graduate research/project (GCIS 698)
3. Graduate thesis (GCIS 799)
4. Any major course-project
Interested students must a power-point poster design (soft copy) to Dr. Shayan Taheri, Student Activity Officer, IEEE Erie (taheri001@gannon.edu) no later than March 28. Poster size: 36" by 48”. IEEE Erie Section will print the posters for the students.
The first position winning project will be awarded with full group funding (up to $500) to attend IEEE Region1 & Region2 joint paper contest April 14-16.
The program will begin at 5pm and end at 7pm. Pizza, and other refreshments will be served during the event.
