The Word Activity
This Women's Day, we celebrated with an online event that connected the members of WIE-IEEE-JUIT-SB. The event was organized to honour the accomplishments of women and to promote gender equality. There were 25 members present for the event. Since the women are represented with purple colour so the attendees were told to wear something purple and set a purple background throughout the online event.
Throughout the event, attendees had the chance to network with each other and share their experiences. There was a presentation through which everyone celebrated the great success and achievements of some famous ladies in the Tech World which was an extremely proud moment for everyone and motivating as well. There were also interactive activities that gave attendees the opportunity to share their stories and discuss the issues faced by women. This was followed by some fun events.
It included an activity where the girls have to write the words that came to their minds when they think of women. They wrote it on a piece of paper and shared them. All the girls enjoyed doing the activity and it was a lot of fun.
