In honor of national cyber security awareness month the second annual Los Angeles Cybersecurity Summit brings together government officials, private business executives and cybersecurity experts to discuss the current and emerging threats that exist in today’s sophisticated cyber environment. Cyber attacks on corporations, governmental agencies and individuals are becoming increasingly widespread and regular, as well as more complex. The goal of this summit to bring together leading experts in Cyber Security to discuss the technological advancements being made to countermeasure and manage these risks.

This is a full day summit with lunch provided. The event features 6 notable speakers and panel discussions from the government, corporations, and academia. This year we have also invited representatives from leading cyber security companies to interact with participants and discuss their products and services.

This event is sponsored by IEEE Coastal Los Angeles Section (CLAS), IEEE Coastal Los Angeles Computer Society, IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE), Loyola Marymount University School of Business, and the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation.
