The Resource person provided useful information on One Day Workshop on “Cyber Security Applications – Hands-On Practice”. He explained in workshop on Cyber security threats, types of Cyber criminology and Types of tools and techniques. About 22 participants from BlueCrest University and other University participants are actively participated and gained valuable information from the workshop.
Aims and Objectives
- Developing a deep understanding of the cyber threat landscape and common attack methods.
- Familiarizing oneself with various cyber security tools and techniques, and knowing how to use them effectively.
- Learning how to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in computer systems and networks.
- Understanding the importance of incident response planning and how to respond effectively to security incidents.
- Enhancing critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze complex cyber security scenarios.
- Improving communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Biography:
He obtained his B.Tech (CSE) degree in Computer Science Engineering from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, in 2000. He completed his M.Tech (IS) in Intelligent Systems from the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, in 2004. He earned his Ph.D. from J.N.T.U.A, Anantapur, India, under the supervision of Prof.Ch.D.V.Subbarao. Currently, he serves as the Head of Research and Professor of Information Technology at BlueCrest University in Monrovia, Liberia, where he has been working for 19 years in both teaching and industrial roles. From 2007-2009, he was the Head of the Department of Information Technology at S.V. College of Engineering in Tirupati.
He holds seven IBM Professional Certifications, including RAD, RFT, DB2, RTC, TDS, LOTUS Domino, and WID, as well as two Microsoft, three edX, two TechGig Professional Certifications, two Cybrary Micro Certifications, two uDemy Certifications on Python, two Solo Learn certifications on C++, nine NPTEL Certifications, and four Spoken Tutorial Project Certifications from IIT-Bombay. His interests lie in Data Science, Big Data Analytics, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, and Robotic Process Automation, Cloud Computing, Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning, and Software Engineering. He is a professional member of various organizations, including IEEE (97608096), CSI, ACM, ISTE, IAENG, IACSIT, ICST, SCIEI, VSRDIJ, NASSCOM, ASDF, Meetingfora, and ICA (Indian Congress Association).
He serves as an Editorial Board member for i-manager’s Journal on Cloud Computing (JCC), SCIERA Journal of Computers, and International Journal of Advanced Research in Computer Science and Electronics Engineering (IJARCSEE), and Editorial Member of Journal of Advances in Management Sciences & Information Systems. He also acts as an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Research Innovations in Engineering Education. As a professional reviewer, he has worked with Springer Nature, World Journal of Engineering, IEEE, CSI, Journal of Advances in Management Sciences & Information Systems (JAMSIS-USA), Data Mining & Knowledge Management, IAENG, and VSRD-CSIT.
Throughout his career, he has performed various roles, including HOD, R&D, NBA, BOS, NAAC, TEQIP-II, IIIC, NPTEL, EDC, TGMC, AICTE-SIP, STP, and IBM CoE Coordinator. He has supervised one Ph.D. and five students pursuing their Ph.D., 14 M. Tech, and 62 B. Tech students. He has published over 185 papers (eight SCI, 14 Scopus & WOS, and the rest UGC listed) in international journals and conferences. He has attended more than 175 workshops, symposiums, and seminars and has conducted and acted as a resource person for over 105 international or national conferences, workshops, symposiums, and seminars. He has published four textbooks, four book chapters, and obtained two patents.
He has received numerous awards, including the "Bharat Vidya Ratan" national award from the International Business Council, Delhi, on Dec 14th, 2018, and the state ITAP-2020 award for "Best IT Teacher of the Year" from ITAP & Tutors Pride, Hyderabad. Additionally, he has received many awards, such as best mentorship from IBM-TGMC.

Anand Kumar Gupta has completed his MCA degree from SRKU in 2017. He holds IBM certifications in Cloud Application Development, Artificial Intelligence Analysis, and IoT Cloud Development. He is also globally certified as a Red Hat Certified Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Associate (Routing and Switching), AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management, and Google Cloud Architecture.
