Productivity Enhancement through Industry 4.0. by Mr Yadu Kr. Yadav
On February 25th, 2023, IEEE JUIT-SB hosted a tech talk by Mr Yadu Yadav on Productivity Enhancement through Industry 4.0. The event took place from 1 pm to 2 pm and was attended by students, faculty members, and professionals from the industry.

For instance, he explained how predictive maintenance can help companies anticipate equipment failures and perform maintenance before a breakdown occurs, thus minimizing downtime.
Mr Yadav also discussed how Industry 4.0 could improve supply chain management. He explained that by using IoT devices to track goods in transit, companies could gain real-time insights into the status of their shipments and take corrective action if necessary. This can help reduce delays and ensure that products reach their destination on time.
Moreover, Mr Yadav emphasized the importance of upskilling the workforce to leverage the full potential of Industry 4.0. He explained that integrating advanced technologies requires a skilled workforce to manage, analyze, and interpret the vast amount of data generated by these systems.

the manufacturing competitiveness in the MSME Sector through the application of
Lean Techniques (e.g. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), 5S, Visual control, Standard
Operation Procedures, Just in Time, Kanban System, Cellular Layout, Poka Yoke, TPM, etc.). Currently involved in the DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, sponsored Center of Excellence on Industry 4.0 and undertaking I4.0 technology-based projects and activities for creating Digitally enabled Manufacturing pan-India. He has led multiple BPR/operational excellence studies for Govt. Deptts./PSUs etc. Passionate about leading teams through change and bringing a culture of excellence in all work undertaken.
