5 DAYS HANDS on TRAINING WORKSHOP ON IoT AND ROBOTICS IN COLLABORATION WITH KITE
The five days of hands-on training offered by the Kalam Institute of Technical Education on Arduino, IoT, and Robotics was a comprehensive training program designed to provide participants with hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of essential tools and concepts.
Led by experts in the field, the workshop provided practical exercises and demonstrations, along with plenty of opportunities for Q&A and interaction with other participants. The workshop was designed for anyone interested in learning about these emerging technologies and their real-time applications. Participants were engaged and enthusiastic throughout the program, eagerly participating in the hands-on exercises and asking insightful questions. By the end of the workshop, they had gained a comprehensive understanding of Arduino, IoT, and Robotics and were equipped to apply these skills in their future projects and endeavors. Overall, the 5-day workshop was a resounding success, providing participants with valuable knowledge, practical skills, and a network of peers interested in these technologies.

The event started at 10 AM by the MC team welcoming the trainers from Kalam Institue for Technical Education(KITE), HOD, coordinators, and the participants of the event. Followed by Dr.K.Renganathan sir HOD of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering delivered the welcome address. The aim of the workshop was to provide participants with practical skills and knowledge in the field of IoT and Robotics. Trainer gave an introduction to the workshop. Then the event started and the kits were provided to each team.
- Day 1: Installation of Arduino IDE and coding basics
- Day 2: Introduction to IoT and its applications in various industries
- Day 3: Basics of robotics, including hardware components, sensors, and actuators, and programming a robot
- Day 4: Advanced topics in IoT and robotics, including wifi control robots and sensors/transducers
- Day 5: Focused on the ultrasonic gas sensor with hands-on exercises.
At the end of Day 5, the event ended by honoring the KITE team and a vote of thanks delivered by the Chairman of IEEE CSS – Sreevaragi.S. Feedback forms were submitted and certificates were distributed.
