Update on Canada's Activities in the CAV Ecosystem

Barrie’s presentation will address Canada's CAV ecosystem, with a focus on the developments in the last 3 years, i.e., since his last presentation to the IEEE VTS Chicago Chapter. This will include the change in focus which has led to a greater emphasis on CAVs for freight and service use-cases for the 2020s. The presentation will also cover Canada's various centres that perform CAV research and development, Canada's activities to prepare for the arrival of CAVs on our roads, and the ongoing activities in Canada to inform and educate the public.
