Electronic Medical Devices and Nanobiotechnology Applications

The medical device and diagnostics industry is heavily integrating nanobiotechnology in the innovation and product development. Microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) are finding new applications for this industry. Whether it is in form of an implantable biosensors, as an integral part of a monitoring system or for monitoring of chronic diseases, is fundamentally applied. This lecture will introduce how BIO-MEMS and electronics-electrical engineering is being integrated in the cutting-edge technology to support growing demands for accurate and cost-effective innovative products to support medical industry.
