In this technical talk, Carl will describe the role he and his team play in IBM Technology Lifecycle Services and how they offer clients not just answers to technical questions or resolutions to problems. IBM Product Engineers also perform deeper dives into the Power & Support Systems and behaviors - good machine and bad machine - and contribute to IBMs never-ending quest for continuous improvement. Carl will provide examples of real life problems and how engineers collaborate to resolve them and methods used to perform problem determination.

Biography:
Carl leads a world-wide Engineering team focusing on IBM Power Platform technical support and quality. He is a recognized expert in IBM Power systems and solving real-world problems. Carl works with an extended team across Support, Development, Manufacturing, and Test to address client concerns and deliver innovative features providing client value for both the Power Platform and the Support Platform. Carl holds a BS Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University.
