3-D Modeling Workshop
Due to popular demand, Amanda Berryman is hosting a workshop on Fusion360, a free CAD program focused more for hobbyists which includes tools for 3D printing and CNC technologies. This workshop will include steps on how to download the Autodesk education plan (which allows students such as yourselves to receive these products for free!) and follow Autodesk's Fusion360 certification course step-by-step. Amanda's expertise and in-person assistance in CAD software will ensure that anybody attending this workshop walks out with more assurance than following tutorials on YouTube! More information regarding this workshop will be attached with this email so please check it out! Both developed by AutoDesk, AutoCAD and Fusion360 are often compared. However, Fusion360's newer and intuitive design makes it valuable in the everchanging engineering, architectural, and designing market. It includes easier steps for harnessing materials to shapes, running stress simulations on models, parting designs based on AI, etc. while requiring lower minimum computer specs than AutoCAD!
