An industrial visit to Harduaganj Thermal Power Station was conducted for the electrical branch students to give them the exposure of the industrial atmosphere of a thermal power plant. Harduaganj Thermal Power Station is located at Qasimpur Power House Colony which is 1 km distance from Harduaganj railway station at Harduaganj in Aligarh district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, about 18 km from Aligarh and 105 km from Agra. Students visited the power plant and got to know about the electricity generation practices followed by this thermal power station.
