Metaverse Workshop
The IEEE Student Branch of Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology
organized a workshop on December 9th, 2022. The workshop was conducted by “VORPHY”, an
industry-mapped company that specializes in XR technology-based products, software
consultation, and technical training. The event took place inside the seminar hall of D Block at
RKGIT. The goal of the workshop was to provide students with a comprehensive understanding
of XR technology and its applications. The industry experts from VORPHY shared their
knowledge and experience about the latest trends in XR technology, software consultation and
technical training.
In addition to XR technology, the experts also discussed the future of the Metaverse and how XR
technology can be used to create immersive and interactive virtual experiences. The workshop
also included a discussion on career advice and the opportunities available in the field of XR
technology. The experts answered the students' questions in a clear and concise manner,
providing valuable insights and advice. The workshop was a huge success and received positive
feedback from both students and faculty members. The students were able to gain a deeper
understanding of XR technology and its applications, as well as the career opportunities available
in the field. The workshop helped to bridge the gap between industry and academia, providing
students with a valuable opportunity to learn from experienced industry experts. Overall, the
