Agenda
About the Meeting:
This meeting will focus on IEEE USA's efforts in Washington to reform our nation’s high tech immigration system. We will discuss: IEEE USA's plan of “Green cards, not guest workers” would make it easier for Engineering and STEM graduates of American universities to become members of the American workforce. This program would also make it more difficult for companies to import "cheap" workers on H-1B and other temporary visas.
We can discuss IEEE USA's plan to provide an American workforce for the long-term, not rent one for a few years. More information on IEEE USA's position, as well as IEEE USA's 2015 Career Fly-In, can be found at: http://www.ieeeusa.org/policy/careerflyin.
