Kids for Climate Action - IEEE PES Kenya - Artcaffe - Peekaboo Kenya

  • This event is brought to you by IEEE PES Kenya, Artcaffe Coffee and Bakery Ltd & Peekaboo Kenya in celebration of the Global IEEE PES Day 2023. 
  • Since 2018, IEEE PES members and volunteers celebrate IEEE PES Day throughout the month of April. The theme of the 6th IEEE PES Day 2023 is “Powering a Climate Safer Future”.
  • The PES RES for Kids project is an initiative under PES Day that aims to influence & sensitize the upcoming future generations about the present and upcoming scenarios in power and energy sector. (PES RES means: Power & Energy Society - Renewable Energy for Schools)
  • The mission is to teach and make the upcoming generations understand about sustainability, climate change, and renewable energy sources through various fun activities like coloring competitions, video presentations and so on.

Agenda

  • Bring your kids for a fun coloring session as they get to learn about Renewable Energy Sources through Drawing & Painting.

  • PES volunteers visit schools & centers anually in the month of April for PES Day Celbrations to inspire and teach renewable energy to kids 4-12 years old using free coloring drawings in order to teach and make the upcoming generations understand about sustainability, climate change, and renewable energy sources
