IEEE CS MVSR Membership Drive
An awareness program on IEEE was conducted by IEEE Computer Society under supervision of Mrs. B. Saritha, IEEE CS Student Branch Advisor on 28th March, 2023 to increase the membership of students under IEEE.
An awareness drive was conducted for second year students of CSE and IT regarding the workings of IEEE by the student members of IEEE MVSR SB which was overseen by Mrs. B. Saritha, IEEE CS Student Branch Advisor. Mr. K. Naga Seshu, IEEE MVSR SB Vice-Chairperson who explained the students regarding the international benefits of IEEE and talked about how wide spread the organization is across the world. Then, Mr. M. Hareen, IEEE CS Student Branch Chairperson explained the working of IEEE in the college and how a multitude of events are conducted every year under the banner of IEEE and has specifically mentioned about the flagship event “Technovanza-2K23”
Mr. G. Sai Kumar IEEE MVSR SB Membership Head talked about the cost of membership for IEEE and explained the procedure for application. Then, Ms. Hetalee Pravin Ward, IEEE MVSR SB Treasurer talked about the CLAP challenge, 2022 and shared her experiences a participant gets to have in the challenge from interacting with IEEE members from all over the world and working with them for various tasks presented. Later, Mr. Md. Saquib, IEEE MVSR SB Design Committee and previous IEEE Xtreme contest contender shared his experiences in the 24-hr long hackathon and talked about his journey into competitive coding.
