Join IEEE Southern Alberta Section SIGHT for an engaging presentation from Levi First Charger, Operations at the Urban Society for Aboriginal Youth (USAY) as he presents USAY's augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) applications that immerse users in Indigenous stories and culture. Aimed at telling the stories of present day and historical Indigenous peoples, the technology explores unique technology application and how it can be used for humanities education.

Biography:
Levi First Charger is the Operations Director of Urban Society for Aboriginal Youth (USAY), a local organization supporting Indigenous Youth in Calgary. In his current role, he supports several initiatives through USAY including the USAY Youth Centre, New Tribe Magazine, and a series of AR and VR applications aimed to tell the stories of Indigenous peoples in an immersive experience.
