A short training session will be provided on the care and handling of RF/Microwave Cables and Connectors.  We find that most Engineers and Technicians do not fully understand the importance of the proper use and care of RF/Microwave Cables and Connectors.  It is something that is not taught in schools.  We find that, with the proper care and handling, the life of RF/Microwave Cables and Connectors can be significantly prolonged.  During this session, we will cover the basics of choosing the proper Cable and Connectors.  We will then discuss proper handling and cleaning techniques.  Finally, we will review the proper connection procedure of the cable assembly to a DUT or System.   The presentation will also highlight actual Cables and Connectors, damaged by improper handling.  This training session is designed for both Engineers and Technicians.

Meeting is cosponsored by IMS and AP/MTT chapters of North Jersey Section
