Dear IEEE PELS Chapter Members,
We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for a Technical Tour to Siemens Medium Voltage VFDs and Motors, organized by the IEEE NCS YP with IEEE NCS PELS Chapter, to get an exclusive look at Siemens' MV VFD and Motor lineup with contactors. This tour will provide some valuable insights into industrial MV equipment. This event will be offered both in-person and online, to accommodate all our members. Please find the details of the event below:
Date and Time: May 23rd, 11:00 AM – 01:00 PM
Location: 1130 34 Avenue T9E 1K7 Nisku, Facility is in Nisku, AB (near the Amazon warehouse). Please note that transportation will need to be arranged by yourselves.
IMPORTANT: Due to the limited spots available for the tour (maximum of 10 participants), registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Please make sure you register as "In-person" if you plan to attend the tour. An online presentation link will be provided for virtual participants, and the tour won’t be live podcasted.
Safety Precautions: Steel-toe shoes are mandatory for this tour. Shoe caps will be available for use at the facility.

Consent Agreement for In-Person Attendees:
As an in-person participant in the Technical Tour to Siemens Medium Voltage VFDs and Motors, I understand and agree to the following terms:
- Attendance Confirmation: I hereby affirm that I will be attending the tour in-person. I understand that spots are limited, and by registering as an "In-person" attendee, I am taking a spot that could be utilized by another interested party.
- Self-Transportation: I acknowledge that I am responsible for arranging and providing my own transportation to and from the tour location (1130 34 Avenue T9E 1K7 Nisku, Facility is in Nisku, AB, near the Amazon warehouse).
- Cancellation Notice: In case of a cancellation, I commit to inform the IEEE PELS chapter at least 48 hours prior to the start of the tour. This would allow the organizers to offer the spot to another interested party.
- Safety Precautions: I understand that steel-toe shoes are mandatory for this tour. While shoe caps will be made available, I am responsible for adhering to all safety guidelines provided by the organizers.
