Poster Presentation Competition - Powering a Climate Safer Future
On 11th May 2023, IEEE NSU PES SBC hosted a vibrant celebration of PES Day 2023 in collaboration with IEEE NSU SB. The event aimed to raise awareness about sustainable energy practices and promote the role of power and energy in building a climate-safer future. The theme for this year's PES Day was "Powering a Climate Safer Future." The event included various activities, including a poster presentation segment, where selected PES Day ambassadors presented their posters and shared insights on climate safer future. The poster presentation segment was one of the highlights of the event, as it showcased the creativity and innovative ideas of the PES Day ambassadors. The selected ambassadors presented their posters, which were based on various sub-themes related to the main theme of the event. The sub-themes included renewable energy, energy efficiency, smart grids, and carbon capture and storage.
