- Membership Development Report – June 2015 mailed to all excom members
- Section approved the nomination of Dr. Munesh Trivedi to attend the AISYC 2015 at Kerala with Registration fees and travel support.
- Dr. Dilip Kumar Sharma attended the IEEE R10 SYW Congress 2015 during July 9-12,2015 held at Colombo, Srilanka. Section initially approved the Rs. 30000/- and now the total actual expenditure is Rs. 44136/-. He requested to approve the remaining expenditure.
- Update on Society Registration of Uttar Pradesh Section.
- IEEE Uttar Pradesh Section Current Membership status.
- Fund received and distributed report.
- Regularly news publishing in IEEE IC and R10 News letters from U.P. Section.
- Financial Support and approval of Proposal for Uttar Pradesh Section WIE Affinity Group event under Uttar Pradesh Section at Tula’s Institute Dehradun.
- Sponsorships Request:
(a) Amity University, Noida is organizing “2nd International Conference on Contemporary Computing and Informatics (IC3I 2015)” during December 16-19, 2015. They have requested for Technical Co-Sponsorship from IEEE Uttar Pradesh Section.
(b) IEEE Student Branch Tulas Institute, The engineering & Management College Dehradun is organizing International Conference on Advances in Computing, Communication & Automation (ICACCA2016) during March 30-31, 2016. They have requested for Technical Co-Sponsorship from IEEE Uttar Pradesh Section.
(c) Rama University Kanpur is organizing National Conference on Trends in Signal Processing & Computing (TSPC 2015) during 19-20 September 2015. They have requested financial assistance & technical sponsorship for conference.
(d) RKGIT Ghaziabad is organizing National Seminar on “Advancement in Semiconductor Devices and Electronic Circuits for Engineering Applications” during August 21-22, 2015. They have requested for financial support of Rs. 20000/-.
(e) Shepherd School of Engineering & Technology, SHIATS is organizing Five Day National workshop on Emerging Trends in Communication & Information Technology during Sep 28- Oct 3, 2015. They have requested for seed money of Rs. 60000/-.
(f) Galgotias University Greater Noida is organizing 2nd International Conference on Computing, Communication & Automation during April 29-30, 2016. They have requested for Technical Co-Sponsorship from IEEE Uttar Pradesh Section.
(g) Dept of Electrical Engineering, ITS Engineering College Greater Noida is organizing two days workshop on MATLAB during Sept 20-21, 2015. They have requested for grant of Rs. 30000/- for TA/DA and Honorarium for speakers.
- Discussion on organising the Region 10 HTC Conference in Nepal Subsection of Uttar Pradesh Section during Dec 16-17, 2016.
- Discussion on the issue of papers not appeared in IEEE Xplore of "International Conference on Futuristic Trends in Computational Analysis and Knowledge Management (A-BLAZE-2015) organized by Amity University Greater Noida Campus.
- Discussion on new rule shared by Prof S. N. Singh to all excom members on dated May 18, 2015 through email: i.e.During the February 2014 IEEE Board of Directors Meeting Series a motion was adopted to change the way IEEE Meetings, Conferences and Events (MCE) expenses associated with conference Technical Co-Sponsorship (TCS) are allocated. Effective for TCS conferences held after Dec 31, 2015: For any technically co-sponsored conference in which there is no (0%) IEEE financial interest, IEEE Organizational Units (OUs) who technically co-sponsor the conference will be charged a fee. § This fee will be $1000 plus $15 per paper sent to Xplore®.
