Exceeding standards – reduce costs and gain deeper mobile network QoE insights
Bad end-user quality of experience (QoE) is one of the main factors influencing customer churn of mobile network operators. To master the ever-increasing challenges posed by technological innovation as well as the cost, time and competitive pressures, the next-generation network benchmarking should reduce complexity, increase productivity through automation and maximize information value in gaining network insights and ensuring superior QoE.
Biography:
Nils Posegga’s journey at Rohde & Schwarz mobile network testing (MNT) began in the summer of 2018, working in Managed Services and Product Management teams. With more than 18 years of industry experience, Nils is convinced that testing mobile radio networks not only from a quality of service (QoS) perspective but also from an end-user viewpoint (QoE) is key for optimization and improving performance. Nils’ curiosity is repeatedly triggered by innovations in transmission technology, new applications that extend the scope of mobile network testing and the development of KPIs and methodologies. In his current responsibilities, he is focusing on E2E Benchmarking aspects for MNT tools.
