Hady H. Fayek Hady H. Fayek

Biography:

Hady Habib Fayek received his Ph.D. degree in 2019 at the age of 29 years old, in Electrical Power Engineering, from Helwan University, Egypt including associated research with Texas A&M University, USA. He got his B.Sc. degree in 2011, and M.Sc. degree in 2014 from Helwan University. He is currently working as a lecturer in the Energy Engineering Program, Faculty of Engineering, Heliopolis University. He is the chairman of IEEE Industrial Electronics Egypt Chapter; he was the main organizer of many international conferences about smart cities and sustainable electrical engineering. He is also the leader of SARA initiative to guide students sustainable smart projects to serve community and connect students with market. He published more than 45 research papers about recent advances in smart grids and 100% renewable energy in many international conferences and journals. Hady got many worldwide prizes such as best paper award from Trinex EU project, second place in inter-chapter competation, third place in IEEE IES inter-student branches competation and seventh world place in IEEE standards competation over 800 submissions. He is also a keynote speaker in many international conferences and webinars. He is also reviewer and editor in IEEE, IET and MDPI journals and conferences. Hady is also working in many EU funded projects such as RIndustry for sustainable managing of energy and water resources, Suremap project for developing two MSc programs in sustainable energy and water managment in Egypt, Trinex project to develop joint sustainable water, energy and food solutions and DEG hydropumped storage solution in the Egyptian desert. He supervised 6 PhD and MSc students in many Universities in topics related to smart grids and renewable energy
