Ramin Poorfard of Silicon Labs

Biography:
Ramin Poorfard received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from University of Toronto in 1995.
He was previously Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Bells Labs, then joined Silicon Labs in 2005 where he is Distinguished Engineer and VP of Technology.

Axel Thomson of Cirrus Logic

Biography:
Axel Thomsen received his PhD from Georgia Tech in 1992. He has worked for the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Silicon Labs, and as an adjunct at the University of Texas. Currently he is a Fellow at Cirrus Logic with focus on analog, data converters and power electronics. He used to be Subcommittee Chair at ISSCC and is currently on the Program Committee for the VLSI Symposium.
