Biography:
Baoying Tong is an MBA candidate at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and an investment intern at JLL Spark, Jones Lang LaSalle’s corporate venture investment arm in property technology, in New York. As a Chartered Professional Engineer, he has worked in the Australian construction industry across various roles, including design and construction, project management, policy, and legislative analysis. He is passionate about the intersection of technology and the built environment and brings experience in product development, project design, research, and standardisation of Smart Cities to this dialogue.
