Designing and Understanding Physics Project using Electronic Snap Circuit
One day workshop on "Designing and Understanding Physics Project using Electronic Snap Circuit" was successfully organized at the Gorkhkali English Boarding High School, Balaju, Kathmandu Nepal on 28 May 2023, Sunday for 12:00 – 14:00. The program was conducted by IEEE EDS Nepal chapter members and Nepalese Society for Women in Physics (NSWIP) members using an Electronic Snap Circuit Kit. This Kit was donated by IEEE EDS Nepal chapter to NSWIP few years back. The IEEE EDS Nepal chapter executive members, Dr. Leela Pradhan Joshi was the coordinator for this program. The main theme of organizing this event was to introduce the significance of understanding basic electronics to high school students for their future engineering as well as scientific carrier. 51 10th grade students actively participated and learnt the concept of designing and implementing physics projects.
The students both boys and girls were so much excited and gained ample knowledge on designing physics project using electronic components for their higher education. The students were very happy to learn physics by playing Electronic Snap Circuit Kit for the first time in their life. The program was successfully completed with the supporting partners Atmospheric and Materia Science Research Center, Physics Department, TU and ISP, UU, Sweden.
