Introduction:

The ICCE-TW 2023（2023/7/17-19）conference featured a special session  focused on Women in Engineering (WiE), with the theme "Research, Leadership, and Life Challenges in STEM" on 7/18 pm:16:00-16:40. This session aimed to facilitate sharing and discussions related to the experiences, challenges, and contributions of women researchers and leaders in the field of STEM. Prominent figures, including IEEE CTSoc WiE Chair Prof. Pei-Jun Lee and Prof. Shu Ming Tsai, were invited to be session chairs, making it a significant event. The session hosted over 30 attendees, encompassing not only female researchers but also the IEEE CTSoc president and male academic leaders.

Prof. Hsin-Hui Hu delivered a compelling presentation that highlighted the progression of women researchers' recognition over the past two decades.
