Management Skills for Future Leaders
Early in their careers, students and young professionals usually focus almost exclusively on developing their technical knowledge. Sooner than expected, they find themselves moving into roles where they need to lead people, realising that technical knowledge is not enough and that they need a new set of soft skills that takes time to acquire and develop. To start working on this, join this highly practical workshop aiming to develop leadership and management skills for students and young professionals. Topics will include Networking for introverts, effective delegation, leadership, problem-solving and leading brainstorming sessions, among others.
This event is in collaboration with IEEE Victorian Section and it's affinity groups Young Professionals (YP), Women in Engineering (WIE) and Student Activities Committee (SAC).
IEEE WIE organises this workshop in collaboration with YP and SAC to celebrate IEEE WIE Day 2023.
Note: Refreshments and drinks will be provided. Please register to make the required arrangements. Limited seats for 25 attendees, so hurry!
