Elkins Robotics Electronics Club: Summer Session 2
For our returning EREC students, we present to you: Project Ampere.
A series of catastrophic geological events has destroyed all cars on the planet! Thankfully, you are employed at Watt Corp, an industry leading robotics company with ample resources. The President and CEO of Watt Corp has, in light of recent catastrophic events, debriefed you on a previously classified project - the Ampere. The Ampere is a compact electric car that can aid in filling the gap of the new car crisis, but before they start mass producing it, they need you to use the CuteBot and Micro:Bit (the same type of technology the CEO wishes to use in the final product) to model the Ampere's systems and capabilities.
Over the course of a week, you will use the CuteBot and Micro:Bit to draw on your previous knowledge to:
- Move the car in two directions (forward and backward)
- Rotate the car in two directions (turn left and right)
- Headlight capabilities
- Autonomous line following abilities
