Widespread adoption of electric vehicles (EV) will lead to a more sustainable future, but it can’t happen without a robust and accessible EV charging infrastructure.  Development of this infrastructure will require collaboration between utilities and consumers to ensure adequacy, reliability, and affordability of power for safe EV charging.  In this session, Nashville Electric Service (NES) will share details of their comprehensive EV Strategic Plan for supporting vehicle electrification throughout its service territory.  Additionally, Eaton will discuss design and implementation strategies to make EV charging accessible to consumers.  This will cover a wide range of residential and commercial applications and EV use cases with emphasis on optimizing the available infrastructure without exceeding power system capabilities.
