Engr. Rhen Bedruz of De La Salle University

Biography:

Engr. Rhen Anjerome Bedruz is the current Vice-Chair of the IEEE Young Professionals Philippines. He is also the coordinator for the Young Professionals Affinity Group of the IEEE Philippine Section. He received both his BS and MS degrees from De La Salle University. Last April 2018, he placed sixth at the Electronics Engineers Licensure Board Examination.

Engr. Bedruz is an Assistant Professor at Gokongwei College of Engineering at De La Salle University. He is also a research associate at the DLSU Intelligent Systems Laboratory, which handles several funded research projects in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence.

Engr. Arfel Malasique of Analog Devices, Inc.

Biography:

Engr. Ma. Arfel Malasique is a Senior IC Layout Engineer in Analog Devices at the Philippine Development Center. She is currently working in the Industrial Multi-Market Group supporting and leading the Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) Business Unit. Prior to that, she worked under the Industrial Multi-Market Power East Group.

Engr. Malasique graduated from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Sto. Tomas Branch in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering. She joined the ADGT IC Layout Team in February 2018 and has been with the company for 5 years.

Engr. Malasique is an active leader of the Young Professionals Network Philippines Chapter, an employee resource group intended to support and help employees within ADI in their early careers. She was the previous Chapter Head and is now the adviser of the network.
