Workshop Sessions on "Capacity Building of Women and Girls"

Towards Sustainable, Inclusive and Equitable Growth with a view contributing to implementation of Egypt Vision 2030 and all its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
β‘ Raise “Women’s Initiative in Developing STEM Career (IEEE Egypt WIE Initiative WiEDevSTEM 2023).” Our initiative envision the encourage of active role of women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) careers. Strive to remove gender bias in careers, through promoting institutional change and creating legal and policy environments which effectively advance gender equality and thereby increase the number of female students in STEM fields, and broaden the participation of women in research, engineering and entrepreneurial careers.
- Support the expansion of scholarships for students, including for women and
girls to pursue STEM and other careers where women are under-represented.

Include Project Demonstration Sessions for Youth with Presentations & Panel Discussion.

Teams of both genders, share & exchange knowledge, demonstrate innovative projects applying technological change and education in the digital age for achieving gender equality and empowerment of all women and girls"

Workshop Sessions on "Building the capacity of women and girls towards sustainable, inclusive and equitable growth"

The workshop will address many sessions related to how to eliminate gender disparities and stereotypes in education and careers: (i) Promoting policies that eliminate gender disparities and reduce gender stereotypes and biases in education at all levels. (ii) Support building the capacity of educational administrators and teachers to deepen their understanding of gender equality, to provide education that addresses
gender stereotypes.

Industry Workshop Sessions, conducted by industry experts and academia, on "How to Enrich job-related education and vocational training for women’s labor force participation, entrepreneurship and leadership"

We commit to take into account women’s diverse needs and to encourage a more equal division of unpaid care and domestic work between women and men, in order to facilitate women’s access to education and training, thereby increase the female participation in the labor workforce.

Discussion panel on "Empowering Women, preventing and responding to all forms of gender-based violence and discrimination" against women and girls.

More than 240 Participants from university senior and junior students, industry experts, Academic Faculty members and graduants.
It was a very Successful & Amazing Event. The Program Agenda of the 1st Day started with: The Openning Session - Moderated by the Senior IEEE WIE Student Members "Eng. Menna" ElMarghany" and "jomana Ahmed, who introduced the Forum program. - Prof. Sherin Youssef - The Chair of IEEE WIE Egypt. She Spoke about the vision and how career developent and capacity Building are of great potential.

Awarding Session: The event awarded Best Project Award with gender inclusive who contributed well to community. Another Award, is in Recognition to "Best Women Engineer Award"
