Event Details
We've all seen how ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot can generate code and help programmers. In this talk, we will take a look back at some of the history of programming language tooling and then forward at some cutting-edge research in large language models to prognosticate about what the act of programming might look like in the coming years.
This free, public meeting will be held in person at the Knobbe Martens' Irvine offices (2040 Main St # 14 Irvine, CA). The doors will open at 6:30 PM for networking. Announcements and the presentation will begin at 7:00 PM. Parking validation will be provided to attendees. A video recording is expected to be posted in the days following the meeting: Fill out the survey referenced in the header and footer to receive a link to it via email.
